Moody Me Photography

Born in 1989, in the heart of the Silicon Valley, Melinda started photographing at a young age with the encouragement of her Grandfather Orlin. He pushed her in her understanding and passion in photography. After his death her interest in photograph diminished, but was rekindled when she attended San Jose City College College. Here she learned how to process Black and White photographs, and digital prints in photoshop. Though it wasn’t until she transferred to San Jose State University that she defined herself as a photographer with the intent of expanding her knowledge and networking in the art field. She is currently in the process of completing her degree at San Jose State, and will be graduating in the Fall of 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art Photography. Her work focuses on exploring the unusual world around her by capturing the moments and hopes to change the perspective of others. Her work has been shown at Works Gallery, San Jose State University, CSU Monterey Bay, and was featured as a finalist in Photographer's Forum Magazine for both Best of 2013, and Best of College and High School 2013.
